Episode 53: Now With Video!

This week we discuss the flight restrictions resulting from the recently thwarted terror plots, bring you more information about Windows Genuine Advantage and show you a cool video ('cause we can do that now) on Object Desktop 2007.

We also send kudos to IBM on their 25 years in business, note that Windows Vista is still on track for a January release and mock Apple for it's whining.

In our miniature version of game news we discuss a possible 40% of World of Warcraft players being addicted to gameplay, and the new "Bully" video game that RockStar will release soon.

We have no Joel this week for a variety of reasons. We thought we'd be able to get him in at the end, but in fact it wasn't to be. He will certainly be on next time.

First off, i must say EXCELLANT SHOW

Feedback:

1. Doing it on video really brings out the humour, even though the audio version is very funny indeed the video one takes that further

2. the text makes the video fun to watch

3. when you discuss topics like the object desktop one, you can actually show the people what you're talking about instead of hearing about it (along with other farm animal noises from brad )

4. Keep up the good work, hope to see more of these vidcasts

I couldn't get the video download to work with Firefox

Had to fire up IE for it. And no "Save Target as.." didn't work, but it did in IE.

The comments really make the show - it's like watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 with really goofy hosts. You guys are off to a great start in video!

oh yeah i wanted to ask the same question sidewinder. But i forgot

. BTW sidewinder, one of the comments said something along the lines of, "anyone who points out any mistakes in these subtitles will get a boot to the face" or was it a boot up the ass? i can't remember. But it was one of the two, so watch out.
